About Me

I have been in the social work field for close to 9 years.  I received my Bachelors of Science from Michigan State University in 2002, where my area of study was social work.  After graduating, I relocated to Chicago where I worked for several years as a counselor and health care assistant for Planned Parenthood.  Through my work with women and adolescents in the health care field, I decided I needed to do more.  I went on to receive my Masters in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago in 2006.  I now practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Chicago.

I have extensive experience and training in the following areas:

  • Individual and Couples counseling
  • Working with Adolescents
  • Reproductive Mental Health
  • Anxiety & Depression
  • Sexual Assault Crisis Counseling (Certified in 2005 as a Sexual Assault Crisis Counselor)
  • Substance Abuse
  • Grief & Loss
